the Resourceful Mechanic

Who is the Resourceful Mechanic?

My name is Ruben Rodarte, I’m the guy that lives inside an old Gas Station on Route 66 My passion is helping the “WE CAN Do it Yourselfers” build the stuff that they need with their CURRENT bank account balance.

I believe that NOW is the time to take action & build the essential items that will improve YOUR quality of LIFE.

I will show you that these things ARE within your reach, your “CAN DO!!”

I built this place (website) as a way to document some of my tools and creations that I have made, to show you that you are not alone with the challenges you face. I will share and explain how I was able to solve some of my problems, not with massive resources and money, but with a little elbow grease and resourcefulness, and how you can do the same.

During this Pandemic I realized that I seem to have two skills:

1. Building items/tools that work well, with minimal capital (cash)

2. Not telling anybody about them.

So here will try to develop the 1st skill and eliminate the 2nd.

I realize the need to share some Resourceful ways I have solved a few problems because there are some awesome people out there, (such as yourself) that could benefit from it.

I do believe the time to act is NOW. I know that the last several months may have not been so kind to you and treated you well. You may be going through some changes and things have not been normal. You may have felt that you have had your butt kicked.

You should know, if you are here, reading this I am here to walk with you, and talk with you about a few ways I fixed a few problems I was having and show you how you can do the same. This is the place for low cost & innovative solutions, for helping those Do It Yourselfers’ that believe they can.

If you have never made any Do it Yourself (diy) project before don’t worry. This is the place where we will make it easy to learn the basic skills needed to get the job done.

Your friend on Route 66,

Ruben Rodarte
